VHS is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - Post-Anesthesia.

• Shift: 9 Hours Day shift
• Description: Job ID #: 2914836Coverage Details:• Coverage needed per month: 2-6 days 1-2 CRNAs• Frequency of any Call needed: No call• Schedule Details: Monday and Wednesday 6:30a 4:00p- 8 hour minimum pay. 1.5x rate over 8 hours.Work Details:• Support staff: RN PACU RN Pre-OP RN OR Circulator• Department Description: Primarily minimal invasive spine surgery including Spine fusion Laminectomy kyphoplasty SI fusion spinal cord stim to name a few. No neuro/brain or orthopedics. Patients are ASA 2-3 and are not high risk other than BMI may be higher but not high risk. Cases are typically 1-3 hours at most and usually do 2-4 cases depending on the times.There are other CRNAs that can be a resource and work with them initially if necessary.• Patient Volume: 2-4 cases per day• Patient Age Group: 30-70• EMR/Documentation System: Paper and Athena• EMR/Documentation system experience – required or preferred?: Not Requ• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Anesthesia duration 1 – 3 hours ASA 1-3 No high risk. Some high BMI/low risk• Special Equipment Used: Drager Fabius GS premiumRequirements: • Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Required• State Licenses / IMLC Req’d?: Kansas Required• Certifications Req’d?: Yes Boards CRNA• DEA Req’d?: No• Minimum Experience Req’d: 2 years ASC or OP surgery• Are vaccines mandatory?: Yes with proofPrivileging Timeframe: 60-90 days InsuranceWilling To License?: YesIMLC Accepted?: NoTravel: MileageRates: 260/hr regularly on pain injection days the rate is 500/hr Shift Info: Day 3x10-Hour 06:30 - 16:00
