Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr No Recruiters Please!* As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining robust global data infrastructures and the pipelines that power Rollease Acmeda’s critical business insights. What You'll Be Doing Advanced Data Pipeline Development and Optimization Enables acquisition, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing large datasets from various sources. Contributes to solution configuration, governance, and management of release cycles, demonstrating advanced knowledge in machine learning architecture and model monitoring. Designs and delivers sound technical problem formulation, translating business problems into technical tasks, testing and optimizing visualization models, applying statistical methods to derive insights from data and delivering intuitive, visually appealing dashboards. Optimizes data delivery and develops infrastructure for data transformation, validation, and enrichment. Builds and implements reusable frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, operationalizing machine learning models, and helping to enable self-service analytics across the organization. Enables MLOps capabilities with proficiency on software development knowledge, relevant languages, development practices, and environment testing for machine learning pipelines. Data Warehouse and Storage Solutions Build and maintain lake-house architecture to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Implements best practices for data storage, security, and governance. Enforces policies and ensures compliance with data security standards. Possesses deep understanding of data security to implement row-level and column-level security measures. Contributes to the development of data architecture and supports data streaming initiatives. Ensures efficient use of cloud resources and cloud cost optimization efforts. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support Influences data strategy. Acts as value creation champion for machine learning and AI business use cases. Demonstrates business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Works closely with data analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Leads data related projects and application management, collaborates with infrastructure teams to ensure data systems are performant, reliable, and secure. Experienced in strategic relationship management and skilled in influencing change management, including communication, training, and adoption strategies. Technical Leadership and Mentorship Influences data strategy, data visualization initiatives in support of organizational goals. Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive data strategy innovations. Drives adoption of best practices in data management and governance within the organization. A catalyst for change, helping the organization embrace overall data strategy, including the design and implementation of comprehensive data architectures and visualization solutions. Mentors business data analysts in SQL, scripting, and advanced data visualization techniques. Provides technical guidance and enhances the TechTEAM’s knowledge base. Data Quality and Governance Implement and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring data integrity and reliability across pipelines and datasets. Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. What You Should Have Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred. Experience: 3+ years relevant and practical experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team. Expertise in designing complex data architecture and scalable systems (CDC, slowly-changing dimensions, etc.), and building CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of how to operationalize and maintain machine learning models. Advanced skills in data streaming and real-time data processing. Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL and big data technologies. Databricks, Apache Spark and parallel computing knowledge is a plus. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouse solutions. Experienced in cloud-based ERP data modeling (SAP, Oracle Netsuite, or Dynamics 365) for optimized reporting of end-to-end business processes. Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration tools. Deep knowledge of big data technologies and extensive experience with data security measures. Ability to lead data architecture reviews and approvals.
