Job Overview
We are looking for someone with diesel experience in diagnosing and repair. The right candidate will have the ability to finish projects in a timely manner and do it with the highest level of quality. In addition, this person will have their own tools, a valid driver's license, and can work independently. This Candidate needs to be able to stay focused, is detail oriented, and can perform all functions required for diagnostics and repair on light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty equipment.
Pay is based on experience and will include employee benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, etc.).
• Inspect, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble Truck & Trailer components.
• Perform work outlined in a repair order with efficiency, quality, and accuracy.
• Communicate with team members and parts facilities for parts and/or supplies needed to complete said repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex wiring. Must be able to read and understand wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of the use and operation of testing equipment, gauges and tools associated with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Basic computer skills including maintenance programs, and diagnostic systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

 

Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines is a must.
• Must possess own tools, tool cart, and toolbox.
• Perform lube, oil, and filter changes on a variety of different equipment.
• Perform safety inspections on equipment.
• High School or equivalent. Technical school is a plus.
• 2 years or more of proven preventative maintenance and repair experience.
• ASE certifications / Welding certifications a plus but not required.


Working Conditions:
• Outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat and cold conditions
• Wet and/or humid conditions
• Moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to toxic chemicals, oils, greases, paints, fumes, airborne particles, or other irritants
• Risk of electrical shock
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds
• Required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, and lift objects.

Schedule:
• Day shift Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed


Experience:
• Diesel Repair: 2 years minimum, 4+ years (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
• Denver, CO 80216 (Required)
