This is a position with grade 11 This position reports to Service Manager Your role and responsibilities As a General Manager – EESCO (Electrical Engineering Services), you will lead the Operations function at our Holbrook MA location, with full accountability for running the day-to-day operations and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution. Travel throughout the New England area is to be expected. Responsibilities: Creates, implements, and reviews the operations strategy for the designated area, based on the overall service business strategy and is accountable for its relentless execution. Ensures customer focus, understanding of sense of urgency and care in their direct area of responsibility. Ensures customer retention by delivering superior customer service experience. Drives improvement of the customer satisfaction relentlessly. Works with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities for improving the customers operations and eliminating pain points. Utilizes the local practices for notifying the account team about the opportunities. Accountable for a sustainable and effective E2E value chain for their own area of responsibility (from customer to supplier and from order to delivery of services, products, and projects). Accountable for effectively balancing the existing capacity with customer demand and workload. Accountable for operational risk management and validating and improving reliability and effectiveness of business operations. Drives continuous improvement culture and the implementation of improvements to achieve service excellence and increase profitability in their own area of responsibility. Responsible for quality assurance, quality control, and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system for their own area of responsibility. Accountable for the effective deployment of ABB’s Quality strategy for the area of responsibility. Qualifications for the role NETA Certification preferred. NICET Level 2 or higher strongly preferred. 12+ years in a similar role, high-level electrical testing, along with managing a team of 6 or more. Proficient in MS applications.
