We are seeking a Manufacturing Business Analyst to perform cost accounting and provide business insights related to food product manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in statistics, possess strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

The Manufacturing Business Analyst will collaborate closely with the CFO, Corporate Controller, and manufacturing leaders to analyze costs and efficiencies, ensuring the ERP system's financial data is accurate, well-integrated, and aligned with the company's financial goals. Experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with the Deacom ERP system are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures for tracking and reporting production costs.
2. Build and maintain accurate master data, including product records, BOMs, routings, and cost structures.
3. Contribute to configuring the ERP system to meet financial reporting and analysis needs.
4. Analyze organizational data to assess labor, depreciation, and overhead rates, recommending policy improvements.
5. Create cost estimates for new products.
6. Conduct audits and reconciliations to verify data accuracy and consistency with production and procurement records.
7. Assess the impact of changes in goods or services on costs.
8. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard and actual costs.
9. Provide management with reports on factors affecting product pricing and profitability.
10. Assist with external audits and ledger preparations.
11. Conduct physical inventories and oversee the cycle count program.
