Team/Role Overview:

The Operations Optimization and Enablement team (“OOE”) sits within the Operations Division which is part of the Chief Operating Office. OOE partners with operations functions in defining strategy and associated operating models and managing program execution. We are solutions oriented and leverage deep domain expertise to make an impact across all core operations functions

What you’ll do:

The Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for project management and analysis related to multiple strategic work efforts across Data & Regulatory Operations. The role holder will:

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of execution against milestones and budget on one or more projects. Create, maintain full end to end operations project and ensure sign-off of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log. Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• Engage stakeholders across product and functional domains to drive transformative changes

• Review use cases and manage work streams across geographies for Data & Regulatory Operations for process improvement, strategic technology solutions and automation and Change Management

• Apply knowledge of Data concepts and procedures to resolve issues and complete required analysis

• Providing implementation / post-implementation project support

• Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.

• Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies

• Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities

What we’ll need from you:

• Extensive experience in business analysis and project management roles, specifically within the Data domain

• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across business, operations, technology and compliance, including those at senior levels

• Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change. Proven track record in terms of evaluating process performance across key metrics and envisioning ways to reengineer the process to create significant improvement across all key variables

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

• Experience in designing business process models and solutioning in order to support strategic design decision

• Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting need

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis

• Minimum 10 years of experience
