Required Hours: Afternoon/Evening Availability and weekends required Cashier Staff greets patients on the sales floor and/ or at checkout, assists with placing orders on the sales floor and at the register confirms products purchased, completes the sale via cash or card with an unambiguous attention to detail. The Agent is to provide excellent care and customer service for all patients and/or adult use customers. Responsibilities: Greet patients on sales floor and/or at checkout and verify purchased product. Must keep current with the dispensary flow & product locations. Complete cash or card sales at the register. Maintain responsibility for all cash and credit card transaction performed, inventory and merchandise assigned and closing numbers on respective drawer. Must be able to perform cash and credit card transactions, as well as issuing of receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to patients. Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person. Assist in the online product reservation process. Assist with daily cash reconciliation process. Keep the dispensary sales floor clean, sanitized & free of clutter. Follow all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to IDFPR. Other duties as assigned. Performance Requirements & Skills Ability to operate Point of Sales Software. Attention to detail, organized and patient. Ability to multitask. Ability to listen and work under pressure without losing composure. Ability to meet the needs of customers / patients and coworkers without constant supervision. Good Memory and recall. Exceptional customer service skills are a must with a friendly, warm and welcoming personality. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with staff and customers. Team player Job Requirements Six months to one-year sales or POS experience Proficient with technology Must be able to pass a background check Must be 21 years of age Must possess a valid license or state ID Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Qualifications: Bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, ability to be on standing or sitting for long periods of time.
