We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Recruiter to join our growing GI healthcare organization. This role is critical to our growth strategy and demands a recruitment professional who understands the full-cycle physician recruitment process, particularly within the Gastroenterology space or similar specialty practices. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Recruitment: Own the full-cycle recruitment process for physicians – from sourcing and outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding – with a focus on hard-to-fill roles. Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified gastroenterologists and other physician talent through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building. Data & Metrics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time to fill, source of hire, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates, etc.) with a high degree of accuracy. Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on data trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Finance, and Practice Leadership to ensure alignment between recruitment activities and business needs, including workforce planning, compensation modeling, and budgeting. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on GI physician market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity to shape recruiting strategies and stay ahead of talent shortages. Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional and professional candidate experience that aligns with our brand and culture. Creative Problem Solving: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract physicians in competitive and underserved markets. Vendor Management: Oversee and evaluate relationships with search firms and other external recruitment partners when needed. Minimum Requirements : 5+ years of physician recruiting experience, preferably with a focus on specialty areas such as Gastroenterology, Surgery, or Internal Medicine. Demonstrated success filling hard-to-fill physician roles and developing effective sourcing strategies. Strong understanding of the physician recruitment lifecycle, contracts, credentialing, and onboarding. Proven experience in reporting and recruitment analytics with a commitment to accuracy and transparency. Skilled in working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Clinical Leadership. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM tools. Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or healthcare-related certifications (e.g., AAPPR) preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience working in physician practice management or a multi-specialty healthcare organization.
