Job Description

Jackson and Coker is a top healthcare staffing firm with nationwide reach, specializing in locum tenens (temporary staffing), locums-to-permanent and telehealth staffing. The Physician Recruiter is responsible for making daily recruiting calls to generate qualified leads through strategic and engaging outreach. Conducts phone screenings, evaluates providers credentials, and provides lists of candidates to sales consultants and clients for further consideration. Uses consultative selling to present Jackson and Coker’s services to prospective providers. Maintain account histories and job postings in the database. Promote the Company’s professional image. Assist area associates and keep management informed of activities, significant problems and recruiting volume. Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all related recruiting functions. Makes all daily scheduled calls as required and receives incoming provider calls and referrals. Contacts prospective providers and presents Company’s services and client opportunities. Prospects for open opportunities through lead generation and screening. Qualifies the viability of a provider’s availability and credentials and client opportunities. Conducts phone interviews and asks qualifying questions. Builds and maintains relationships with clients and providers and keeps providers scheduled through the company. Tracks and records changes in provider availability. Sources and generates leads using various resources including providers, clients, job boards and others as needed. Enters and updates provider information and other data into the computer database on an ongoing basis. Ensures quality and accuracy in information being entered. Collaborate with Internal Recruiters to find their providers opportunities to work with Jackson and Coker. Extract all details from the providers about their credentials and availability and communicate that information to area associates. Completes all recruiting activities in compliance with established policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Demonstrates quality customer service for both internal and external customers. Complete training as assigned. Be an active participant and properly demonstrate the skills that you learned in training. Maintain a positive and collaborative spirit when working with internal and external customers. Demonstrate personal commitment to the team and adhere to the team’s expectation and guidelines. Sends appropriate targeted marketing materials to providers with timely follow-up. Manage daily schedule of calls, follow ups and required training. Meet or exceed goals/metrics established by the company by utilizing resources and adopting best practices. Resolve client requests, complaints, and problems. Requirements include good interpersonal and public relations skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, basic sales skills, proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office, strong relationship building and presentation skills, well developed negotiating and closing skills preferred, professional presence, knowledge of types of customers and their needs, high school graduate or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred), and 1+ years of sales and/or agency recruiting experience in a goal-driven environment preferred but not required. Experience in phone sales preferred but not required.
