Summary:

A dynamic and fast-growing biotech company in the Bay Area is looking for a Scientist I. We’re seeking an experienced immunologist with a solid background in antibody-based biologics and a strong understanding of immune cell biology, particularly T and B cells. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of cutting-edge research at the intersection of immunology, therapeutic development, and translational science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct experiments investigating human immune cell function, with a focus on therapeutic antibody development
• Apply a range of immunological assays including multi-color flow cytometry (8+ colors), ELISA, and whole blood-based platforms
• Interpret experimental data and contribute to project strategy and decision-making
• Collaborate across functional teams and mentor junior scientists
• Support scientific publications, patent filings, and regulatory submissions (e.g., INDs)

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong background in immunology with specific expertise in antibody therapeutics and biologics
• Deep knowledge of T and B cell biology; familiarity with myeloid and granulocyte populations is a plus
• Experience leading research projects and working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in additional techniques such as ELISPOT, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, or single-cell RNA analysis is a plus
