Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will play a critical part in redefining and executing ABB's global integration strategy by deploying the full spectrum of new Integration Services across the organization. This will directly impact how various business areas and ABB's strategic programs consume Integration Services to achieve their goals. The work model for this role is #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Core IS Services globally. You will be mainly accountable for: Rationalizing integration requirements to build simple, efficient, scalable, and supportable future-proofed integration designs. Facilitating integration service triage-related conversations. Collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements. Translating business requirements into functional requirements and creating an integration inventory, API (Application Programming Interface) catalog, and flows to define scope. Proposing integration patterns that best meet requirements. Proposing criteria-based integration solutions and ranking them according to business needs, highlighting risks, pros, and cons for each. Estimating the complexity of integrations. Defining and designing blueprints for integration assets (e.g., reference architectures) and accelerators. Supporting automation and DevOps activities as part of continuous service improvement. Maintaining knowledge of integration technologies, patterns, and strategies. Qualifications for the Role Bachelor's or master's degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering, or similar. 8+ years of experience in the Integration Architecture discipline. Experience in system engineering, service mesh, emerging architecture patterns like Microservices, and integrating these into wider architectures. Proven experience working with leading integration technologies/vendors (Azure Integration Services, BizTalk are mandatory; MuleSoft, SAP PI are optional). Experience with APIs, Event-Driven, Streaming, ETL, and batch patterns. Experience with formal program management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile). Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in a corporate environment. Fluent spoken and written English.
