Our client is currently seeking a qualified Store Support Analyst to join their team onsite in San Francisco, CA, providing end-user support. This role involves overseeing third-level technical support services, with a focus on Incident and Problem Management. The ideal candidate should demonstrate high self-motivation, excellent problem management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution skills. Effective communication with support teams, development, IT leadership, external providers, and business contacts is essential. The candidate will be required to be on-call after hours on a rotation basis and support other regional locations as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance: Ensuring proper functioning of POS systems, including updates, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing reports and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • User Support: Supporting POS system users, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring open trouble tickets via ServiceNow.
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with POS vendors, coordinating support and maintenance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitoring system performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining documentation and generating performance reports.
  • Collaboration: Working with support teams, vendors, and business units to resolve complex problems.
  • Communication: Handling formal communication regarding major issues and outages.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2-5+ years of experience in Retail and Hospitality industries.
  • 3-5+ years of advanced support experience for Retail/Dining POS hardware and applications.
  • 3+ years in Incident and Problem Service Management.
  • 2+ years supporting POS systems and peripherals.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to tailor messages to various audiences.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Availability to work weekends and after-hours as needed.
  • Exposure to ITIL and ITSM tools like ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Wage Range

The hourly rate is between $27.00 - $41.00 . Pay may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience.
