Location (home terminal): Ridgeway, VA 

Truck Driver CDL Class A

We deliver our glass product for the customers located on the East Cost and Mid-West. It will be a mix of overnight and local trips. Pay consist of hourly and/or per mile plus per diem.

JOB INFORMATION:

• Job Location: Stoneville, NC and/or Ridgeway, VA
• Route Type: VA, Washington D.C., MD, NJ, NY, PA, OH, MA,  (out 2-3 nights a week), weekends at home
• Trailers: Flatbed, open and enclosed Rack trailer, Conestoga trailer
• What product(s) you will be hauling: Racks or crates of fabricated glass products
• Transmission Type: Manual and Automatic
• Pay: bi-weekly, mix of hourly and/or per mile plus per diem
• Inspecting vehicles: pre and post trips as required by DOT and communicating if repairs are required
• Maintaining ELD: (electronic logs) using device provided
• Securing material before moving loads, a ssist in unloading of material (may consist of manual assistance, boom, or Moffett )
• Checking counts of material for accuracy and for damages
• Planning routes and delivery schedules with Supervisor
• Communicate with customers 

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

• License: CLASS A CDL
• Experience: 24+ months (clear driving record)
• Handling: Moffett, Boom lift, Touch freight
• Have experience in driving manual transmission
• Must have good communication skills and people skills
• Basic Computer Skills
