The full salary range for this position is $25.21-$35.29. Interviews for this position will be held in July 2025. This position is full time with benefits and is an hourly position. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, in office. This position is not eligible to work remotely. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of detailed, routine, clerical, and administrative work in support of Municipal Court operations. Performs tasks related to courtroom and case management, including readying the courtroom for trial, scheduling hearings, preparing dockets, notifying jurors, arranging special assistance, processing citations, and sequestering witnesses. Maintains court records, sealings, and expungements. Assists with bench court and jury trials; provides jury selection notifications and questionnaires. Collects fines, fees, bond payments and prepares reports to account for funds collected; reconciles daily cash. Performs electronic data exchange of driving records with the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles; accesses the Colorado Crime Information Center (CCIC) database to obtain driving records and criminal histories or enter and vacate warrants. Communicates with Parker Police Department and other agencies on the status of prisoners; processes writs of transport. Provides court or case information to defendants, attorneys, police officers, and the public pursuant to open records and confidentiality requirements. Assists in the coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of the teen court and supervision program including recruiting and training volunteers, awarding scholarships, evaluating and monitoring cases. Refers defendants to appropriate sources and/or social service agencies to meet sentencing conditions and informing parties of defendant non-compliance. Maintains confidentiality of information consistent with applicable Town policy, and applicable state and federal regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, certification and/or licensure required. An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered. Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by three (3) years of experience working in a clerical, customer service, or a related field, with previous experience in a court or legal environment preferred. Possession or the ability to readily obtain and maintain Colorado Bureau of Investigation access within thirty days of employment. Knowledge of open records and confidentiality requirements regarding municipal court records and documents. Knowledge of the basic elements of the criminal justice system. Knowledge of routine court procedures, terminology, and case-flow management principles. Knowledge of basic mathematics and accounting principles. Skill in the use of computers and various software programs. Skill in performing accurate data entry and records retrieval. Skill in cash handling. Skill in verbal and written communication. Ability to apply ordinances and statutes to routine matters such as dismissing summonses and monitoring deferred sentences. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement involving customer service requests and assignments. Ability to prepare, organize, and maintain complex filing systems. Ability to compile information and prepare detailed reports. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM accurately. Ability to operate small office equipment, including copy machines or multi-line telephone systems. Ability to provide a positive customer service experience.
